The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As both boxers met for the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
