Humid circumstances were predicted to continue along significant areas of eastern Queensland this next several days as a weather pattern continued to draw in moisture against the coast.
Tuesday was forecast to be the most rainy day, with ongoing severe weather risk expected across different parts of both areas.

Medical authorities cautioned that there was an higher risk of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the state's northern country region, especially given the current weather patterns.
